This section of the Trac site is meant to house the design documentation generated in the creation of the SRFC system. Good documentation is necessary for two reasons. First, there is a rapid turnover of TIES members each quarter and knowledge will be lost if it is not written down. Second, because of the multiple members working on the project separated by space and time, it is necessary to use these documents to communicate design decisions throughout the team.

Obviously if too much text and information is generated, it becomes unwieldy and no one will take the time to search through it to find what they need. In order to minimize the amount of design materials generated, the following structure is provided as a guideline. There are four types of documents: Design Requirements, Web Page flows, Detailed Web Page descriptions, and Database Tables. An example of these using an online Wine Store? is given to be used as a model.
