Legacy Third Party Integration

Once the database design for the application has been finalized, a team will have to be formed whose responsibility will be to take the Access database from each clinic is currently and come up with scripts that will transform as much of the old data as possible into the new system.

Currently the systems are split between the different clinics, so a patient at multiple clinics will have records with different primary keys within each Access databases. The most difficult part of the legacy Integration will be reconciling these discrepancies and merging these records into one so that a single medical records number will be able to access the patient data at any one of the clinics.

Merges will be performed on records that have the same Name and date of birth.
