1) What did I do this week?

Worked on the labeling software implementation. Also went over code for validation of certain fields.

2) What challenges did I find?

The labeling implementation required basically three parts. Retrieving information from the database, processing this information, and then sending this information to the printer to output. I could only fathom the middle section and need some help with the other two regions.

3) How did I solve those challenges?

Have not solved them yet, but moving onto the validation states until I can get some help.

4) What is one new thing I learned?

I learned some more PHP and also some new functions within HTML. Hopefully will learn some json too.

5) What do I need to do next week?

Get more work done on the labeling as well as doing some validation for certain pages.

1) What did I do this week?

  • I added the codes for MochiKit? tables for the Pharmacy inventory page so that it would be more consistent with the rest of the pages and be able sort the drug information according to the information displayed. This is different than the static tables that were present in the pharmacy inventory page before.

2) What challenges did I find?

  • Coding for some functionality by connecting to the MySQL database to input some fake information within the pharmacy page

3) How did I solve those challenges?

  • Talk to Henry or Tou about functionality and writing code for MySQL

4) What is one new thing I learned?

5) What do I need to do next week?

  • Continue to work on the pharmacy inventories and then add the suggestions from Dr. Beck
